Production on the 10th MC Overlord solo release "Tha Hangova" is delayed due to a change in the writing team for the live disc on the album. Bassist Matt Slagle, Drummer Les Fisher and Producer/Singer Ter'ell Shahid are still on board but Lordship Entertainment confirms that two new guitarist Colin Slagle and Dave Scher are being bought in to finish out the songwriting. While the record is still targeted for an April 2012 release but MC confirms that another delay is fairly likely.

Overlord and Michael Dillard have recently begun production on a collaboration album titled "Tha Goodfellas' Produced by Ter'ell Shahid. The album will feature Michael Dillard's rap alter ego Mike Dill but the singer songwriter flexes his vocal abilities along with Ter'ell throughout the project. MC Overlord describes the album as a refreshing return to old school Hip Hop. While the album will likely be complete in the next few months, fans will have to wait a heft 9 months into 2012 before it hits the market. A few shows will likely follow but it is doubtful that the two will perform shows outside of Austin once the record is completed.
